DESCRIPTION:The Flora-Bama’s 13th annual Beach Run is completely on the white sand beaches of Florida and Alabama along the beautiful waters of the Gulf! \nSchedule of Events:\nHalf Marathon – 7:30 AM Start\n5K – 9:00 AM Start \n100% of the registration fees of this half marathon and 5k will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full scholarship grants as well as educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Army\, Navy\, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty\, and immediate financial assistance for severely wounded personnel and their families.

As one of Pensacola’s oldest running events\, we are proud to partner with the City of Pensacola to make the race one of the greatest events in the Pensacola community. Runners will have some serious bragging rights for winning the race and their age division. In addition to awards stating “Pensacola City Championships”\, the overall male and female winners for both the 5k and 10K will be welcome and recognized at a city council meeting following the race.  We look forward to working with the community to grow this great\, fun\, unique event.
